My manual indicates that thePFR6G-11 (NGK) or PK20PR-L11 (ND) are to be used for normal driving and my car has the 2nd choice above. HOWEVER my manual also indicates that for Hot climates or continuous high speed driving that plug type PFR7G-11 (NGK) or PK22PR-L11 (ND).
I have had one plug go bad well less than the allotted mileage but going on two years in the car and I now have the same symptoms again. I am wondering whether I should be using the PK22PR plug rather than the PK20 and wonder what other Nsx'ers in Southern AZ, Nevada etc are using.... I am not going at at high speed normally--mostly city driving and not for long distances but it do get very hot here in Phoenix.
I should note that I am driving a 93 and the plug types are different for newer NSX's but there are still likely to be other choices for Hot climates as above also...
