As to what I "expect" of Discount Tire, I'm not expecting "full price", I'm also not thinking 30-50% of the new price is fair compensation for a nice set of rims that were in perfect condition. If they messed up all of your rims, I suspect you'd feel differently.Also, BTW they did cost more than $2k new (the prior owner paid over $3K for tires and rims). A retail source in LA tells me they went for as much as $750/wheel.
