Has anybody had experience with fitting Sparco Evo or Evo 2's into their NSX? It seems like the Evo 2 might be a tad wider than Recaro Pole Positions, and was wondering if that would cause problems. Anybody have them with track experience?

I'm not sure of the fit in the NSX but I have driven on the track with both the Evo and the Evo2 in 911's. I'm 5'10" and weigh 190 lb. For me the Evo felt best on the track. I you are contemplating using the seats on the street as well the Evo 2 might offer a bit more room/comfort.

From Sparco about 18 month ago, the Evo 2 will not fit in NSX...

Yeah you're right. Upon more research, it looks like the EVO 2 will not fit in the NSX. I've whittled my decision down to the Recaro Pole Position.

Be careful, your fat a$$ may not fit in any of these seats!!!

I may not have to worry about it. Since I've decided to go with the Pole Position or SPG, I can't find freakin' rails available to mount them! Very frustrating.

Northstar had rails for the SPG when I was there last. Does the NSX require something special? John at NS had some interesting points of view. Apparently the new Recaro mounts are way too high for most applications so he has a third party product that is a reproduction of the older style lower Recaro mounts. Given that they are anodized aluminum if you are in a real pinch I bet these could be fabricated pretty easily.

I was up at Northstar last Saturday. They weren't able to offer any solutions for the NSX. I know that the PP and SPG fit, but rails are a different story. One person is telling me Taitec rails fit the PP, while others say no. I'm told that Taitec rails do fit the SPG, but rails are almost impossible to find, unless you want to wait for two months while they get shipped from Japan. The whole thing is frustrating and confusing. Somebody needs to start making rails in the States.

If they work, I'll just get fixed brackets in the meantime.

SoS doesn't make them anymore, I just talked to them. The only rail they offer is the taitec.

That seats are better than evo, because there is bit more room.
