Yes- the midnight pearl was a great car and in exceptional condition after alot of TLC on my part. I probably spent no less than 200 hours on the paint, polishing, hand rubbing, etc. etc. No problem selling it here on Prime - I had three buyers in line in less than a week. It went to a really nice guy in So Cal (Mike Dang) and the last time I talked to him, he is out on many weekend drives with the local NSXers. The midnight pearl was my daily driver for a year and it had 39K miles on it when I sold it. The Spa Pearl Yellow will be a garage queen. Selling my CLK 500 and going back to an all Acura family (wife has a '04 MDX and I'll probably be buying another MDX for my daily since we have three boys to haul around!)

Since I've owned a red NSX and they are the most common color, I am now leaning to a more unique color. I searched for a MC Blue for several months but NSX2NV's car put me over the top on the yellow.

The car was on ebay and that's were I saw it. It's getting harder and harder to find a low mileage, pristine unmolested car nowadays. I actually found my midnight pearl on ebay as well. I paid a fair price for the yellow car (hint - higher than the top bid that didn't meet the reserve but not as high as the buy-it-now price).

I called HRE yesterday and the wheeles alone are $7K, plus the tires. I personally like a HRE 547 a bit more than the 545s on it, but now that's just being a picky SOB

I'm going to Phoenix next weekend to inspect it and have it loaded on an enclosed transport back to be sent back home to Tulsa, OK.

The car looks phenomenal. I love it in yellow but I wonder if I would tire of it.

That's a fantastic color. My second S2000 (a MY 2002) was spa yellow pearl and I loved the color.

Two friendly "heads up" on that color.
1) For some reason, it attracts bugs. Many other S2K and NSX owners have also noticed that whenever you wash a Spa Yellow Car, it immediately attracts little bugs. No biggie but I didn't expect that.
2) Paint matching is a biznatch. Those unfortunate few who have had accidents have found this to be true. In addition, I had the Honda factory lip and trunk spoiler on my S2K and noticed that even that paint was just slightly off from the rest of my car. Again, no biggie but you should know.

I hope this car gives you many, many miles of trouble free fun.

The car looks phenomenal. I love it in yellow but I wonder if I would tire of it.

I've had it for 3 1/2 years, and it still thrills me when I look at it, anybody who says different is just jealous!!!!!!:tongue:
