Looks like the weather will break and allow this run. NSX drivers welcome to come play.
Details:
Open marque sports car drive in beautiful Southern Indiana on Saturday, Sept 26. Rendezvous location at 12 noon at Shell Gas station at the intersection of In State Road 135 and Interstate 64 (exit #105). Note for Indy drivers, this is waaaaay down there. I-64 runs west from Louisville, Ky. to Evansville, In. If coming from the Indy area, a group is meeting at the Hummer dealer in Fishers at 9:15 for the trip down to make it to Shell by noon. (Shell is on the north side of the interchange) This should make a nice meeting spot for Ky and Ohio drivers who wish to join in.
From there, we'll head west and south on some of the best asphalt roads the region has to offer. It is a very scenic route, with curves, elevation changes, and glimpses of the river along the way. Maps will be distributed at the rendezvous spot.
Lunch at the Rocky Point Grill overlooking the Ohio River and Rocky Point Marina. They have set us up with a cheeseburger/tenderloin type menu.
Hope to see you all out on a fine early fall midwestern day.
Please indicate attendance in some fashion as I need to give Rocky Point notification for staffing and menu.
