ok here it goes. I am serious about this and would like any input that you may have helping me out with this project. I am interested in installing the stealth plate mount on my 2004 but i want it to be motorized. I want to be able from inide my car to push a button to lower my plate and push it again to raise it. The obvious reason is for law enforcement. I have issues when I leave my area that I get my balls busted for no front plate. This would rectify this issue and keep that clean look on the front of my car. Anyone have any ideas of how I can do this. Just a simple button under the dash would work. Thanks

I spoke to the guy at swift and he said he sold a few of these to nsx people. he said some didnt like it because it was too low mounted to the bottom of the lip. he then said he sold one recently and the guy loves it. my question is you need a 3" wide and about 9" long strip to mount this to. why cant i mount it where the current plate would be just have it motorized? another words mount the swift part there? is there not enough room for the plate to come back and be concealed? thanks

Think real hard,, Your Human,, humans have been coming up with Ideas for years,, heres one,, get a bicycle brake line,, where its can slide back and forth,, then get your self a 12 volt motor, you must add something to connect the wire from the bike brake line, possibly a small pulley on the motor,, like a yo-yo where it can wind up the bike brake line,, you need a 3 postion switch, where your 12 volt current can be told to change direction, so now you got the motor going both ways with your bike brake line,, now you need some long wires to run to your toggle switch, it will take some tinkering but i am sure you can figure it out,,, I can say that it WILL work,, but you must tinker to get it just right,,
And i cant say if I have this installed,, on my rear of my car!! real stealth for these Red Light Cameras!! just let this be said that this is illegal!! as you might get a ticket

I had the SOS bracket and because of its design you cannot motorize it and even if the rail was just one position and you could there are problems with the 04 bumper where you have to relocate somethings.... not as easy as you think but not impossible.

I bought the non motorized version of the stealth bracket to investigate if you could make it work on the Nsx and the problem is that it is designed to be mounted a certain way and to make it work you would need to make a bracket to accomplish this .... I have not had the time to do this but IMO it would not look so good. I temporarly mounted mine to the center fin on my 91 as a quick fix to make it work but will attempt to make the bracket before the summer

If you watch the vid you will understand what im talking about

The motorized version will however work on the rear , this is on my list.

The front would require the plate to be mounted in such a way that it will be above the bumper when out and slide into position where the SOS bracket goes when retracted.

I dont see how it would work on the back as you will need room to mount the rail .... they do however make a flip down bracket
