I installed the SOS JIC suspension a few weeks ago and then had it aligned and corner weighted. Has anybody tracked this suspension yet? What damping settings fore and aft have you tried?

I've tried several settings at Streets, Buttonwillow, Roval, Spring Mt. and LS but after some fiddling, I just put it on full stiff (all the way in) on all four corners and full soft on the way to the track.

Occassionally, I'll soften the front one or two clicks if the back end is coming around on turn exit.

I run the Falken Azenis 17/18 (35psi F, 35psi R), Comptech sways (mid hole F, aft hole RR).

My first event with the new suspension was at Gingerman last Monday. I'm running the Azenis tire as well, and after some adjustment of tire pressure I started to slowly play with the suspension settings. My last run was with the front on 6 clicks up from soft, and the rear 4 clicks up from soft. I was running the stock swaybars, but have since removed the rear and will try that next time.

So far I really like the suspension. With a few more adjustments I think it will be even better.

I have tracked my car car this year with the SOS JIC's. I have the dampers set at 5 in front and 3 in the rear. I am running comptech 3 way adjustable sway bars and 17 , 18 gtc with Falken Azenis. Great on the track and the street.

I also have these JIC. The suspension has a great stroke but Im having troubles with tow in the front which may be causing my tire rub in the left front. I'm running 18 TE37 in the front with a Goodyear F1-D3 225/35/18 tire. I actually ate up my fender. some how it grabbed the fender (not the plastic) and it ripped and peeled the piece that ppl usually roll. Its not that bad but I may have to replace the whole fender and its not cheap. anyway the tow is outward in the front and i cant seem to adjust it to 0. maybe the height is lowered too much but I have to see if the off-set is really what i ordered. The tire and wheel combo was given to me by SOS so Im sure the car is lowered little too much. when i first installed the suspension , it felt too soft but then i made a mistake to compare them to EG and EK chassis type suspension. the suspension is not soft it, the springs are equal or little stiffer than the NSX R with a far better stroke. Well as you may see, my story is all over the place and im trying to do the same as you are. does anyone have any advice? Oh yeah my sittings are 8-10 F and 4-6 R. One more question, how do I get my car corner balance? Thanks to all and bare with me, its not my old civic anymore LOL.

i have them aswell

have not track the JIC. but when driving around the street. my settings are on 7 clicks down from full stiff. i love the stiff ride. but when wifie rides with me i go to about 14 clicks from full stiff. (SHE CANT TELL THE RIDE DIFF FROM OEM:cool: )

ride height is 1 3/4 drop and the allignment, Auto Innovations (Milpitas CA)was able to bring all corners to OEM specs but the rear camber.

I also have the SOS-JIC setup on a stock 99. Chris @ SOS told me that the best track setting is full stiff front and 4 clicks from full stiff rear. I haven't tried this setup myself yet. Would appreciate feedback on the best track setup (+/-) to use as my starting point.
