SOS NSX competing in SCC challenge this year it seems

SE-R vs SOS NSX

I heard that an nissan SE-R beat the SOS NSX... I am not trying to stir people... but I know Mike Kojima of SCC and understand, being that I own a 1996 nissan SE-R and a 1991 NSX...it would seem intuitive that the SOS NSX would have a SIGNIFICANT power advantage over the four banger SE-R...I think the SE-R came in fifth overall...pretty impressive...

You better check on the SE-R again. That car has more power than the NSX with the turbo. Not to mention a lot lighter. In addition it is a race car, not a street car.

That being said, I think the fastest FWD race car was an Integra with K24 supercharged motor. That car passed me like I was standing still.

He races regularly with NASA crowd, and I have always been consistently faster in my Civic.

Hey Andrie, I heard" stories" of what happened on the track. I will not put down any cars or drivers, but from what I heard the FWD integra was like you said, the fastest car out their. My good friend built that integra with the K24 turbocharged, set up suspension etc.. From what he told me, the integra beat the SOS car and many others even on the turns as well as straightaway. Again, I cannot verify this but i do trust his word and alot of other people that were their.

Looks like FI is the better way to go. :D

Take care

I think you misunderstood. I was refering to the SE-R. Th K24 powered integra was faster in every way. The car barely 2000 lbs I heard.

What I meant on my previous post by he regularly races in NASA crowd and constantly posted slower time than my civic is the SE-R.

I have never had the honor to race with Bernardo.

BTW, comparing race cars with street cars is no use. The Integra was definitely the fastes FWD cars, but not the fastest car. The Signal Auto car was fastest than anybody by a good 3 seconds.

SOS car had several issues. Chris didn't have enough time to properly tune the car. The car was cutting out on the fast left hander. Although, I doubt it can match the K24 integra over there. The car was just insanely fast. I guess the FI with the K24 can really produce usable power.

SoS car probably making the least HP/weight out of all the competition out there.
