hey seth-
got any pics of the full c/f kit installed on a full black interior??
might be a nice way to hide my painted black console!

No pics of the CF dash kit installed yet...but we do have a couple customers who should be sending us some installed pics soon. We will post them on the web page when we get them.

Thanks

Hi, Seth,

I know that this was discussed many time before, but which clutch do you personally think will last longer if driven by the same driver, ACT or Centerforce?

Also, which one has more similar feel to Comptech PG2?

Thank you for your time.

The ACT and the Centerforce are almost identical in my book as far as durability and performance goes...They are both a good medium between the stock clutch and the more aggressive clutches such as Comptech PG2 or Exedy. The biggest difference between the ACT and Centerforce right now is availability. The Centerforce is an excellent clutch option, but the manufacturer has a hard time meeting the demand from the NSX market...The ACT on the other hand right now is currently available.

Clutch effort for the ACT/Centerforce in my opinion is no where near as stiff as the Comptech PG2 in regards to clutch pedal effort.

Give us a call if you have any other questions

Damn, you know my name. I must be known internally within SoS as the SoS Cheap Bastard. ;)

Actually, it's pretty much know on NSX Prime also! ;) :D j/k Conrad! :p

btw, great new products Seth/Chris!

Conrad - NSXCA specials are up ;)

As far as durability goes between ACT and CT PG2....they are both highly durable clutches, and both have the ability to last a while...Longevity really has mostly to do with individual driving style in this case since both units are designed for maximum durability under spirited driving and higher amounts of HP.

However, you should also keep in mind that for your year of car, the ACT clutch, like any twin disc, is not a drop-in since your input shaft is only designed for a single disc.

Can you possibly comment on each stage of the tarox kit? Such as the balance, stopping power etc? Is having 10 piston caliper really benefitial over 6 piston?

cool...can't wait. good to see so many options now... but at the same time, the choice is so much harder to make. I guess that's a good thing :)
