Getting one ordered this month. I plan to get 18x8.5 front and 19x11 rear for the Volk TE 37 wheels. A friend of mine said the front could have offset of +15 and the rear will be zero offset (+0).

Please tell me if these offset could be used because I am ordering it from Japan and I don't want to make mistake and have them return back to Japan as this would be wasting my money.

Please reply as soon as possible because I am going to make the payment this thursday.:)

I think you should go for the 18 - 17 combination. I heard that any wheels bigger than this will 'kacau' your traction control. Say, where did you order your wheels from? Any website?

BTW, the offset that you mentioned is probably right . I heard the same thing too.

For other people "kacau" means disturb. Supercar, for the wheels try to ask Sing Hiap Hin or Kenda. Give them the spec you want and they will order it for you.:D

not true - I have 18 front 19 rear (& I'm not alone) with no TCS problems.

D'Ecosse, could you give me your wheel/tire numbers as I as deciding between 17/18 and 18/19 as we speak!!

Thanks

Thanks! I also assume (maybe i shouldn't!) that you have no rubbing, bumping or any other sort of problem, except potholes of course!

Your wheels will extend beyond the fenders and not fit right with those sizes.

Thanks Chris. I will used the offset that you given before +22 for the front and +12 for the rear. But I am gonna use 19x11 at the back. Can I still use +12 offset for the rear?

I have a rub that only happens on full left lock when reversing down my driveway into a turnaround spot - other than that no clearance issues when driving normally. When they were on Gerry's car (lowered) he had no rubbing issues, mine is stock height - who knows - maybe when I drop it it will be fine!
You will definitely "feel" the road more with this set-up however.

Jin, your NSX will be the wildest in Brunei with that widebody and wheels :D (19x10 for the rear is wide enough man!).
I assume you not too worry about police road block? ;)

Well actually last time I ran into police road block. He complimented me by saying that the NSX looks nice lowered. He ask me about the Dreamsport spoiler and I show him the new type-R magazine and he let me go.

About the widebody, I'll try not to drive it doing dangerous hour (9-11am, around 2.30pm and after 10pm). I also got many informer that will tell me where the road block is.;)

Okay...

Now I need to solve this problem. With the Sorcery widebody I am also going to do 03 lights conversion. For those who have done it already, was it difficult to reroute the front signal wire?

Thank you in advance.:D

Update

Bad news,

For the rear wheels the agent said that they can only supply Volk Racing TE 37 19x10.5 so I can only fit 315 wide tires at the back.:(

Re: Update

I run 275 cross width tires with no problem on 19x10.5.

Actually I want a wider tire because here not many sportscars sporting wide tires more than 275 and that's why I want 315 without the tire ballooning at the side. I'll bring along a 1 foot ruler just to tease the others. Hehe:D
