Sony MEX-5DI CD/MP3 head unit - Specs

This unit has incredible features, including a 7 band EQ & DSP as well as an LCD display that you can run through
a number of installed graphics & video, as well as the capability to install & display your own mpegs or jpegs.
Has in-dash CD/MP3 capability - I have over 120 songs on a single disc.
These capabilities have to be seen/heard first-hand to gain true appreciation for them.

Original retail was $1299, was selling last year for $1000 at Crutchfield, Good Guys etc.

I will include the finished/painted SOS console customized to suit this specific head unit,
complete with the ash tray cover & vent grille all painted to match
(exchange required of your like "perfect" ash-tray cover & vent grille components);
complete with the custom mounting brackets to install in the console location to align up perfectly with the slot.
Remote also included.
Note: this unit has no built-in amplifier - you must run the outputs into an amp
(which could also include your stock Bose units incidentally)

I have a lot of hours into finishing the console & making this all fit together just right -
I've had countless compliments on how clean this looks without an after-market feel - all you have to do is install it!

Condition - the console is flawless with an incredibly smooth finish; the head unit is almost perfect
except for a tiny scratch on the screen, which is barely noticable (really only under close inspection & only when it's "off").

Thanks for interest nsx24 - however, sorry, that's not a consideration.
I've had several inquiries for just the console so let me clarify ....
The only reason I would sell the console is because it is already custom matched to the head unit
it's about the same ammount of work for me to either install a new console or modify this one to match a different head;
but it makes this practically a plug n play install for anyone considering this head unit.
Conversely I will sell the head alone if requested, but think it makes sense
to buy them collectively for the NSX application.
