No g/f pics for you guys, haha... :p

Thanks for your service Ryan.

which country are you at now?

Aced my weapons handling test today, only 30 seconds behind my 19 year vet Sgt....

Going to Ottawa on Saturday for some touristy stuff...

Still havin' fun. We're out in the field in a little while for a 5 days at a time for a couple weeks. That should be fun.

More updates when I can... :p

Just got off a week at the range and in the field....

Hahaha... shooting full auto with the C7 is about the most rediculous thing I've ever done. It was outrageously fun. We did a night shoot after 3 days on the range and I was one of 5 people to peg off the glowstick at 100 yards. So my Sergeant owes me a coffee, haha.

We did a two day field intro, and it was pretty sweet. It was puking snow the first day, so we were wet and pissed, but after that it got real nice, nice enough for the tilley hats to be broken out and everything.

Fire drills at 2 am with a full tent in pitch black sucks, and I ran out of my tent with two different boots and someone else's jacket on.

Today was spent at the rappel tower, a 15 foot, 30 foot and heli skid to jump off of and that was great. Going off the skid was awesome fun, falling 35 feet on the rope with no wall. Getting paid to do that just boggles my mind.

Next week is Nuke and Chem training, then I'm in Cowtown for Easter.

And we just found out we're staying in Afghanistan till 2011, so everyone's all excited about that too...

See you guys in a few weeks.

You're living high on the hog compared to the US Marine Corps! Thanks for doing you're part!

Wait till you fire a C9! That is freakin wicked. Not very accurate, but I grew 10 sizes that day!

NBCW training kinda sucks. Back in the day when I did mine, we still had to inject ourselves with the auto-atropine injector. My buddy wouldn't do it, and was about to get kicked off the course. The warrant came up to him and said "Bannana-head, if you don't inject that now, you're outta here!"

He said "do I have to?"
WO "If you want to stay in the service of the Queen you do!"
"Which leg do I have to inject WO?"
WO "Any damn leg you want!"
So he shoved the injector into my buddy's left thigh, and I never laughed so hard in my life.

Pulling the mask off in the tear gas hut stings a bit, but it's not so bad.

If you like some of your advance to contact drills wait until you do room clearing. That is fun. We do our boarding party training a little differently in the Navy, but it's all good s@#t.

Keep up the good work!

Sean
