Hello fellow NSXers!! Yes, time to let it go. Don't want to, just getting hard to get out of now, me getting up in years. You know; the lean forward, PUSH!, and try not to grunt!! Sad day, as nothing is more fun to drive, and get all the thumbs up!! But I dreamed of owning this since I first saw it on the Acura dealer floor in 1991. I have the original promotional book as well, but might have to keep that. I purchased this from Diamond Motor Works in December, 2021, and had it shipped in the dead of winter. So it sat in my garage for months until the warm weather rolled around. Worth waiting for, though. I think I'm being fair on the price, as I paid $99,000 for it then; put 6,955 miles on it, kept it in temp controlled garage; gave it the love, attention, and service it deserved!! I have a ream of services orders and articles that were collected over the years, too. Yes, I knew it had been in an accident before I bought it, but honestly didn't care. Dealer stood behind it 100%, and was willing to buy it back if I wasn't satisfied when I got to wind up the back roads. Needless to say, not a shimmy at any speed. Like me, you won't be disappointed.

1997 through 1999 are virtually identical. Here are some sale results.

I ended up purchasing this from Diamond. Excited to dig into it and stuff.
How much did you end up paying for it if you don't mind? I bought a 91 nsx on prime about 8 months ago and was looking to inquiry about this one but I guess I was too late!

They didn't move on price so as it was as listed, but I felt it was time so I traded in my RX-7 on it.

Happy to take opinions on the price to DMs lol

Welcome to Prime and we look forward to following your NSX saga & your contributions here! You will not regret it, except perhaps not doing it sooner, as I do. Do throw a thread in the new owners forum!

Can't see too much chatter on the pricing - @RacerXwing 's evaluation document suggests the price was pretty fair and the dealer ask price was below average, especially for an unmolested car in beautiful condition. Transaction price below average and median for 2024 transactions, although that is the combination of all 1997-2001 specimens, & the year/mileage of the other data points is unknown.

Personally though, I think there may be an error in the evaulation document, as that gorgeous shade of yellow should comand a much higher premium!
