Year: 1991
Exterior color/Interior Color: Silver/Black
This is the 3,170th NSX made, one of 34 Silver/1991/Autos ever built.
Number of Owners: Second
Vin # JH4NA1269MT003170
Mileage: 93,876.3
Are you a dealer or private seller?: Private Seller
Location: Houston, Texas
Title (clean or branded/salvage/rebuilt): Clean
Price: 80,000USD
Contact: Randal at 832-402-0715
Maintenance History:
Mobil 1 since new. Never tracked. Never wrecked or abused.
Starts and runs like new. Tranny has never given a moment’s trouble. Have binder of records. The car is in very good condition but it has been driven so all surfaces inside and out will reflect that. Timing Belt won’t be an issue for another two years (age, not miles). Biggest issue is that the radio is currently out; was considering upgrading to a more modern system but the buyer of the car can decide which way to go. Original radio is in the car, plus optional CD changer in the trunk, with smartenna module.
Most recent work was replacement of the master cylinder; also, fixed the driver’s door handle with billet aluminum hinge part from Science of Speed. Maintained by Burden Autocare, a Honda/Acura specialist shop; Mr. Burden owns an NSX himself.
Low mileage on tires. The engine cover was replaced with a perfect one after the previous owner’s shop laid parts down on it and messed it up. The tool kit was missing parts so I spent my first few years of ownership collecting missing pieces until complete. Original spare present. I have the original Fat Five wheels that came with the car if you’d rather have them.
Details:
I am the second owner of this car, since 2007, and I still know the first.
I have loved this car dearly and planned to grow old and die with it in the garage, but have to sell because now we are moving to a new home and there is no garage space.
Modifications:
The car is bone stock unless you count the following: it looks like a later-model car because I had the black canopy painted to match the body color, and the wheels are off of a later-model NSX. Original owner told me that he’d had the nose repainted after it was scraped in the parking lot. When I got the car, I had the rest of the car painted because he’d parked it outside at work and I wanted to correct the sun fade.
