I am totally a dummy about this, so hopefully you guys will enlighten me. Many thanks in advance. Here it goes.
1) I need to create a site just like (in term of functionality, including chat, etc) this eXellent NSXPRIME site. What software are needed for this? Where can I get this software and roughly what is the cost? Anyone happen to know which data base is supporting this site and the size limit of the dbase?
2) Can this software support Audio/Video up/down load by members? No, I am not creating another music/video sharing site.
3) Assuming that there is no audio/video component, what should I look for in term of bandwidth when selecting a web hosting vendor?
4) Are the tools use to manage the site pretty robust such that the web hosting vendor can be anywhere?
