This is a 1991-1994 (OBD I) factory ECU that has been professionally converted with a chip socket, so that it will accept aftermarket high-performance chips, such as Dali, RM Racing, Mugen, and the like. You must have your ECU “socketed” in order to run any type of aftermarket chip.
It comes ready to go, with the stock chip installed, so its 100% plug and play.
Expect to pay around $600 for used ECU's, and $100 or so to have it socketed.
