Hello Everyone

Well, it is that time again...

Yes, it is the second Thursday of the month, THIS Thursday:eek: 11/13/03. and that means time for the monthly NSX meeting in Orange County!

As I mentioned before I am planing on holding these meetings at a consistent location for a while. So, we will be meeting at the Red Robin restaurant in front of Super Autobacs on Beach Bl. in Stanton (just north of the 22 freeway on Beach Bl).

I don't have any guest speakers planned this month so let's just get together and share stories (and Pics:D) of NSXPO and the Dromo 1 event:cool:

So let's plan on meeting at the Red Robin at 6:30 PM. I have arranged with the restaurant to have a group of NSX owners there on Thursday November 13th at 7:30 till we get tired.

The restaurant is located at 12697 Beach Bl. in Stanton. This is just north of the 22 (Garden Grove) freeway on Beach Bl. On the Left.

There should be lots of parking available!

I will need an accurate count of how many will be attending so I can arrange a proper size table.

Drop me an email ASAP if you think you can make it, so I have an idea how many to expect so we can make dinner arrangements accordingly.

To reach me on the day itself, call me on my cell at (714)330-6563.

At the meeting I will also have more information on the upcoming NSXCA Christmas party!:)

Hope to see you there! Let me know!
Thanks:cool:

what happened to everyone after autobacs?????
did you discover some other nsx meet down the street that was better than ours??

Mike,

Sorry, it seems like a few members were in the mood for some Vietnamese Noodle Soup House food rather than the Red Robin menu. I PM you about the shift boot.

umm i guess next time we should have a vietnamese noodle meet then.......i didn't stay for dinner because i have to go back to work :(

Andy,

Go back to work at 8:00pm, is your boss running a slave camp?

Steve,

In light of people doing their own NSX meeting last night apart from ours, I think it would be wise to conclude that a change of restaurant would be nice. I must admit, I'm getting tired of Red Robin myself. There's an Acapulcos adjacent to Red Robin. If not, Beach Blvd is replete with other nice places.

Hey,

I like Red Robin as much as the next guy and Steve's meeting is a great spot being next to Super Autobacs but it was a spur of the moment craving that some NSXers' got last night.
A little variety is always nice from time to time but the spot is dead on perfect.
I like to apologize if we dissappointed anyone last night.

The only problem I can foresee with other locations is: "Ample and SAFE" parking  , and a menu that will please everyones palate.

As suggested last night, and this will need input from everyone. What if we start trying out various restaurants around local OC area, gives everyone the opportunity to learn new places, great food, and we can check out rides and catch up with old friends.

I am sure everyone has good recommendations. If we can stay neutral on the type of food (no cow knuckles, sheep toe nails, or anything they serve up on fear factor) , and select places that can accomodate us picky parking lot snobs (safe, ample, and WIDE spaces), I think we can work something out. Also, not to add to Steve's workload, it will be the person that provides the recommendation to coordinate with the restaurant to setup the reservation and also ensure proper parkings for all. This will give people a chance to chip in and realize how much work there is to put on any sort of gathering, and appreciate what Steve, Anytime..etc, have been doing for us.

This is just a suggestion, and I am sure there are other legistical things that I didn't think of. I really have no intention of stepping on anyone's toes, so feel free and share any thoughts..,

I wish SuperAutoBacs had a restaurant inside it. That video room upstairs would be a perfect place to eat and meet.

We can always get our food to go and eat it up there. :D
