SIGNUPS WILLOW SPRINGS ( ROAD COURSE ) ( so - California )

*Date is Monday March 23 , 2009 , * start time is 8:00am - 5pm. this will be
on the “big track".


The fee for the track day will be ~$145 a car / 45 CAR CAP. ( cost will depend on number of sign ups)

Please DO NOT send money at this time. Just a reply if you wish to retain
spot(s) on the list. If you have a friend who wants to drive his/her car
please say so on your reply. All makes of cars welcome. We will be running
3 group system, ½ hour each run group. I'm trying for lower car count and more track time.

No Passengers allowed unless a licensed instructor is in the car.

All cars welcome , Rag tops must have roll bar ( factory roll bar ok )

This is a practice event , we will be doing "hotlaps" all day. No timing unless you bring your own.

Basic tech on your car like at an autocross.

I may be interested. Not sure about this being a Monday though. Please summarize format and "hot lap" option. In other words, will there be an addional cost for hot laps (riding with instructor)? Do you need to sign-up for this in advance and any other instruction options that may be available or can you decide on that when you get there? Thanks for posting this.

we run "hot laps" all day, meaning i dont use timing, or its a non timed event. you just go out on the track during your session times and run your own laps etc. you are welcome to bring your own timing if you have it.

we dont allow passengers so the only time you can have someone in the car with you is if hes/she is an instructor. im trying to get some licensed instructors but that depends on money. we will have a beginner instruction class before you take to the track. this will be available to all.

you must sign up in advance, to reserve a spot, but payment is not until later when i know i have drivers to fill all the spots and cover the track costs.

Thanks for the good info, Patrick. I am interested, so please add me to the list. One more question. What happens if it is raining and/or the track is wet? Cancelled?

great just PM me your full name and email.

we run rain or shine. IF the track is to wet to run all day willow will re schedule the day and those who cant make the re scheduled day lose the fee. kind of sucks but thats how it goes. But ive never been when they had to cancel, even if it rains, we can run. Or we wait till it breaks then run.

Yes. February 8th (Sunday) and only $100 for the day. I prefer "Big" Willow. I can provide details if you are interested.

Just purchased a new Bell helmet and Puma race shoes, my first for this type of gear. Ready to begin my new passion for entering track events. Hope this one goes forward. Let the games begin!

WAY ahead of ya, i post to like 20 different clubs pages, some flame me, some delete my thread, but i try.

at this time i have almost 29 drivers, only need a few more,, %90 sure it will go on as planned!!

even with allthe people i have now, the cost could be $155 and it would be enough. if i need to ,,,,
