Being a Corvette Guy for many years and finally deciding to look for a project NSX, I have a question. What does "Not in the Snap Ring Range" mean? Can anybody think of anything else I should be aware of or try to avoid in my search for an NSX?
Just kidding. Welcome to Prime. Snap ring range refers to a problem within the transmission case in some of the 91-92 models with the 5-speed. Be sure to check out the FAQ section of the site, particularly this section: http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/BuySell/buy_sell.htm
Yes, the FAQ. This site has a wonderful NSX FAQ (answers to Frequently Asked Questions). You can access it by clicking on the word FAQ in the red bar at the top of your screen that looks like this:
You'll find information about the snap ring and other problems in the Troubleshooting area. The link that hlweyl provided is in the Buy, Sell, Ship, Store area.
