I am looking at buying a NSX with 115,000 miles. If the car was in snap ring range would it have failed already? The car is several hours away and the owner can't find the number on the tranny.
The transmission in that car when it left the factory was almost certainly NOT in the snap ring range. (The snap ring range only affected the last 20 percent or so of '91 model production, which was over 300 cars for the Canadian market; this one was number 52 or less of those sold.)
