WTF? The last few times I washed and dried, I noticed smudges on my rear window {not the hatch}. Turns out it's between the two pieces of glass. It's aggravating now that I can't get to it. Is this normal for some reason?

As I understand it, if the window is properly sealed, there should be a vacuum between the two glass panes. If you have "smudges" between the two panes, then the seal may have been corrupted. I've washed/dried my car on numerous occasions and no "smudges" or condensation.

Yes, it is normal that you can't get to it. (not normal to have smudges).

Replacement glass is very expensive, but you can always get single pane Zanardi glass (which you can clean both sides).

Or Lexan but both are LOUD  You will hear EVERYTHING the motor does.

I would ride in a car with single pane glass or Lexan before you put it in a street car.........race car W/ helmet it's all loud anyway.

I know of a few stock around but it's hard not to chip on disassembly. PM me if you are interested.
