I have been smelling coolant everytime I get into my car. Tried just driving with the A/C off (vents only) for a few days, and the strong smell is still there? Can't see any leak stains on the garage floor either. Where is that smell coming from?
Look closely at the seams in your coolant overflow bottle (the big white plastic bottle in your engine compartment). These often fail and leak. Sometimes the cap leaks, too. This is a common problem, as you can see in the FAQ (click here). You can replace the bottle with a stock one or there are aftermarket ones available from RM Racing (click here) and from Dali Racing (click here and click on any of the four finishes listed under "Coolant Tank").
I assume you're talking about coolant (antifreeze, the stuff that's in your radiator and flows through your engine) and not refrigerant (the stuff that's in your air conditioner)...

Thanks for the suggestions regarding the coolant bottle. I will check it closely. It is the sweet smell of antifreeze that I smell. But if it is the coolant bottle, how can I be getting a strong odour within the car with the windows closed?
Try checking the heater core.
My truck had a cracked heater core and the coolant would vaporize when it leaked in.
Every time the vents were turned on it would leak vaporized coolant into the cab. BAD BAD BAD. I don't know how the NSX is set up as far as those peices go, but its worth checking.
