Small oil leak near passenger side rear tire

I have noticed a small oil leak on the passenger side rear tire. It does not appear to be coming from the oil drain plug or the oil filter, but somewhere between the two and higher up. Any ideas or things to look at. I understand that the spool valve is on the drivers side of the car so I figure that isn't it.

if it's splattered and thick (viscous) on your wheel...check your cv boots and make sure they aren't leaking grease out...

It is on part of the suspension between the oil filter and oil pan...haven't had a chance to put it up and take a closer look. The oil on the ground appears to be engine oil.

Sounds like it is the "galley plug".
