Slow Response Time?

Am I the only one who seems to be experiencing slow response time (20-30 seconds, sometimes even more, after entering a post) on 'prime the past few days?

My response time has not changed at all.

But recall in another thread where I question why, without changing my PRIME settings nor my EarthLink settings, I was no longer receiving notification e-mails from PRIME. I decided it was not worth the frustration of trying to figure out why. Last week, again no changes, PRIME has resumed sending me notification e-mails.

Lud said he made no changes, so I suspect it is something on Earthlink's end.

Try changing browsers and see if there is a difference. For me, going from IE to netscape made a big difference, never could figure out why though.

Same with me.

There are 134 users on right now. Server load is only 0.28. The site is screaming fast for me. I don't know what to say other than it does not appear to be a server problem unless there is something I'm not seeing.

P.S. I was about 3 seconds from me pressing "submit" for the above message until i was redirected back to this thread with the new post, and most of that time is the delay built into the redirect page.

There has been a lag time for me also when I make a post. Maybe it's the grade of the server being used? What do you say Andy??

Now it's back to the same speed for me. But there was definitely a slowdown over the weekend.

No email notifications for me. I find that I like it better though.
