When I First put the rotors on, I had the slots going with the car. While I have have the car on jackstands, rebuilding the turbo, would it be okay if I rotated the slotted rotors to face the opposite direction they once faced? I have been told that the slots are supposed to go against the car, so that they suck in air to cool the brakes, my are position the opposite way. Will this affect anything negatively. I think I've put about 5k miles on them. Didn't know if it mattered if I reversed the rotation or if I need to get them resurfaced.

It doesn't really matter which direction the slots are facing, what matters is whether or not the rotor has directional vanes.
