Skunk2 ECU chip questions?

Anyone have experience with these chips? Do they really work or is it something that's really better avoided? For less than $20, it sounds like a great upgrade. I've heard it's another $300 or so for a qualified shop to install. Anyone know about these?

Do they do what they claim? How do they effect performance?

If it is, it sounds like a waste of money and time.

I know Dave Hsu the owner and founder of Group A Autosports (aka Skunk2, aka Z.Speed). I called him up and faxed him over that ebay listing for sh*ts and grins.... We had a big laugh.

Someone took the Skunk2 program (eprom) for the B16/B18 motors and cloned them. There is no Skunk2 program for the NSX. This guy sells alot of cloned chips of different companies. But really has no clue.....

Bet you $10 you'll have a better chance running a GSR motor with that chip than your NSX. LOL!

Would the CT computer make a noticable HP increase? How about with a few basic aftermarket parts like intake & exhaust?

According to their dyno, there's an average 2 or 3 HP gain up to 7000 RPM, then 4-6 HP gain from 7000 RPM up.
