Simple task, somehow not for me?!

Just changed a burnt out parking light on the passenger side. Got the assembly out, piece of cake. Changed the light, everything works fine. I think the clip that the screw fastens to has now fallen off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I updated this post with a less-frustrated tone now that I haven't been searching for a little clip for an hour...at midnight! I am just looking for pointers as to where the piece would have fallen to in the bumper assembly. Thanks everyone.

Are you sure it is not there? Sometimes if the lens is not seated fully back in the bumper, it seems the clip is gone and the screw cannot catch to tighten up.

Make sure the lens is fully seated. Should be better now that is is the next day.

If it is no longer in place, you are likely going to have to remove the lower skirt under the front of the bumper corner and start gently banging on things behind the bumper to try and knock it loose and hopefully it will fall out on the floor....good luck..JZ

Thanks guys! I found it. It wasn't too bad either, I just had to move a few things in the opening for the signal. I appreciate the help. I think I may have just needed to vent! :biggrin:
