Do you have any larger pictures available, and possibly some close up pics of the lip on the wheels? What are the sizes of the wheels, what size are the tires on them, and what are the offsets on the wheels? Interested..... thanks.

No tires on these rims, The rear are 18x10 and run on a 275/35-18. the fronts are 17x8 and run on 225/40-17. Ive seen these rims on a comptech wide body and they looked awesome. I think he was using a 25mm spacer though. There are pics of these rims on the comptech usa website.

Did you sell the wheels? Do you know if they will clear Brembo Lotus calipers/rotors on the fronts?

Do you know if they will clear Brembo Lotus calipers/rotors on the fronts?

Comptech sells (sold?) these to clear the Brembo Indy caliper front and rear, with no spacers. Check with Simmons, the US distributor is in Arizona I think. Also check with Brembo's North American distributor, who I think is Race Tech in the LA area. I am not clear if the two calipers are the same axial width. I've seen the wheel with the Indy caliper and there is about 2 or 3 mm clearance.

The wheels being sold here originally were on a brand new NSX with Brembo Indy that a local Acura dealership tricked out.

I bought them from him and put them on my car. I then sold my 16”/17” wheels. Since I was leaning towards the Lotus caliper, I had the opportunity to test fit the Simmons wheels on another NSX that had Tecnomagnesio wheels over the Brembo Lotus caliper. The Simmons cleared by 1 mm. This was too close for my comfort. I sold the Simmons to low-n-fast after my Tecnos arrived.

The Brembos I purchased were from Chris Anders when he was parting out his car. It was his NSX that I did the aforementioned wheel-to-caliper test fit on.

What neither of us knew at the time of test fitting, is that the caliper bracket was installed backwards. The bracket mounting studs are offset by 1 or 2 mm. Therefore, the 1 mm clearance during the test fit could have worked out to be a 2 or 3 mm clearance (just like with the Indy caliper) if the bracket was installed correctly. I did not realize this until after I sold the Simmons and bought the Tecnos, when I was installing the Brembos on my car.

This is a somewhat long post to say “They should work.” However, you should confirm with Simmons and Brembo to be certain. Brembo can supply Simmons with critical dimensions and Simmons will confirm yes or no.

Thanks for the info Andy.

I will be happy if I can get them to work with 5 mm or less of spacers, I intend these to be track wheels so I am comfortable with some spacers.

I will give them a try.
