Hi,

i just did a quick temporary install, and i'm so in awe by it's looks that i just had to share with you guys...



i let the OEM headunit in there, but as i'm having problems with USA Spec ipod adapter, i'm in the verge of jumping into a pioneer 4300 DDIN unit, so don't mind the gaps.

i don't like to see a navpod in the nsx dash...it breacks a bit the smooth and clean lines of the dash....but this silver one stands in there gracefully...hummmm.... got to think about it or if i have my OEM center vent wrapped in silver instead....

I didn't install the inserts as i will have to take my doors apart to remove all the window tracks and regulators so my friend Hugabuga does his magic

so... what do you guys think of the look of the Silver CF and how it contrasts into the NSX interior ?

It's not exactly my cup of tea but its your car. As long as you're happy with it.

well... in these photos it looks a lot brighter than really is... in person it looks like what Silverstone OEM color looks like in photos...

Tomorrow i will try install the ashtray and cointray version and photo it without flash.... let's see...

I love the look of the NA2 NSX-R aluminium look of the center console...and this looks like it, but in carbon.

I think it would look better if you didn't wrap the NAV box thing. It looks awkward because you have this huge silver thing sticking out of your dash. If you had left that black and only accented the front edge with silver CF I think it would of flowed better.

about the tiles...well... they are older than me...it's on my wife's parents patio...

Guess I'm the only one who thinks it looks fine, the ashtray & coin-tray version will surely look even better.

Just install and leave the air vents in black and switch to your Pioneer DD, then everything is perfect.

I'm sure the flash made it an overkill, Silver CF looks darker in person. I know because I have some lying next to me right now :biggrin:
 
I'm going to be with the rest of the people here I believe...

Maybe on a silver car that would look good, but on a red car (especially with a red interior), its just too much imo.
 
I think in a silver car it would be decent. Even so, I'd tone down the brightness a little by applying a smoke clearcoat.

Hi,

well... i understand what you guys mean... but keep in mind that the photos show the console much more brighter than really is.

I always loved the look of the NA2 NSX-R center console, that makes me think of polished aluminium, and as you can see, i'm just missing the red seats for the NSX-R complete interior look (and black pilars and roof lining).
So i think that silverish console goes well with black dash and red carpet:



I think the silver CF has the same silverish tone as the NSX-R one, but with the CF weave on it.

I don't really need the Navpod, because i won't have a 2nd screen once i have the pioneer 4300dvd, so tomorrow i will take photos of the console, and the ashtray and cointray version, with black OEM upper vent (later i will have it wrapped in silver CF).... photos WITHOUT flash...
