I was meeting my in-laws for dinner in Arcadia on Wednesday night (1/28).
As I was driving north bound on Baldwin Ave (@Duarte), I saw a red nsx pulling into the corner Mobil. Very clean and nice with chrome wheels. I think I saw the same NSX last Friday at the same gas station. I am not sure if they are the same one.
Did not get a chance to look at the driver?
My guess is that you had dumplings at Din Tai Fung, or seafood/dimsum (for dinner?
) at Full House Seafood Restaurant a block away in Golden West Plaza.
Taiwanese,
It could've been me, since I live only 2 blocks away from that intersection. But my Z50 was garaged and covered that night. I don't know how often you see NSX's here in San Gabriel Valley, but I've always managed to spot at least one on the road here in this neck of the woods almost every other day, if not every day. Most of them are pre-97 models with differing lic. plate #'s and almost always RED or 2-tone Black/Red. Call me psycho but I have this uncontrollable urge to stalk every NSX's I see if it weren't the fact that I had more important things to do and places to go. Sometimes I had to tell myself to snap out of it. I guess I sorta took this Comeraderie thing a little too far LOL!
kdarmawa,
I'm guessing you're the one that frequent this wheel shop on Baldwin Ave. and Lower Azusa next to AAA Anime and occasionally drive your 2 tone black/red up and down Baldwin Ave.? My friend runs a gift shop and buys his anime supplies there and always saw a black roof/red body NSX parked there on many occasions (and a BLACK Enzo once and Yellow Murcielago 2x). I work 1 min. walking distance from that shop. If that's your baby, then I must say those 18" BBS wheels look gr8!!
You, CChung and I otta hook up for an Arcadia mini-NSX'ers meet sometimes.
Oh yea, I noticed there's another Arcadia NSX'er in his Yellow -T that I often see cruising up and down Temple City Blvd. and Baldwin Ave. but I doubt he frequents this board or is even into our NSX comeraderie thing. Once I tried to get him to acknowledge my existence while I'm cruising side by side in my Z50 (I even honked my horns!), but he didn't even turn around to look at me (maybe he did but probably didn't give a hoot) and just hanged a right turn on the next intersection, not even a friendly wave! Oh well....
