I just put a new battery in my 91 NSX today - turned on the Radio and WOW!! - Full Blast - a shreik that practically blew my eardrums out.

Is this related to the "usual" failure of the Bose Amp?

Thanks!

Hi Phil,

Welcome to NSX Prime! Yes - when mine went I literally ducked it scared me so bad.

I hope you have seen the FAQs on this site. It is a virtual encyclopedia. There also is a little search entry form at the bottom right that can help you whenever you need answers.

Also - this site has a great search feature as well. A treasure's trove of additional information.

Yup - I almost needed to change my underwear - extremely loud.
The interesting part is that I haven't driven the car in a year - and the first time I start it up after replacing the battery - 110 DECIBELS!!!

Which method did you use to get yours fixed?

I used:

World of Sound
Peter Cinicolo, World Of Sound, Orlando, FL - (561) 691-4434

They did a good job but forgot to do my sub the first time causing me an additional delay. They paid shipping both ways on the mess up and the amps have worked perfectly for 2 years.
