I'm sure someone could point to the exact link in the FAQ, but if you look you will find several discussions about tire wear. Yes OEM tires wear VERY quickly. Like about 6k-7k miles only from the rear tires. You can go with the later alignment specs and get much better tire wear. Also, you can go with a different tire (I like kumhos good bang for the buck IMO) that wear a little better, but even then don't expect more than 15k miles out of a set of rears. Also, invest in a car cover if you plan on parking it outside, might discourage drunk vandals somewhat.
