Any ideas on what the best choice is for a short antenna? Would like to only do it once instead of dealing with nonsense getting the wrong one.

I went on the Guppy group buy. It was my first `mod`on my NSX. It looks nice but the recepotion is not the best if your driving on Canadian East Coast Highways where you can be the only car for KMs for well over na hour, hahaha (depending on the time of day that is.)

I put a short (about 4") mast on my car. It looks good, but performance is marginal. One of these days, I'm going to get a fully concealed antenna put in the trunk or under the bumper and have the hole in my rear fender filled in/painted.

yeah the short one works, i have it and am more than happy with it, but if you want good reception the only one that works properly is the OEM, so good around town but no good away from the signal.
but hey they look way better

The best short antenna is a long one. I have installed a few, no one was happy. Do not recommend them at all.
