My NSX is brake-wise completely stock.
On a good dry surface it's not hard to have ABS kicking in.
I would like to shorten my brake-distance as much as possible.
AFAIK, brake-distance is limited by the amount of grip my tires have on the road. Since most braking is done up-front would this mean that if I would change my front tires to a bigger size my braking-distance would be less also ?? Currently I'm running S03 in 215/40 ZR17 in the front.

No. Remember, the amount of rubber you have on the road - the area of the contact patch - stays the same even if you switch to wider tires (assuming you are using the same tire pressures).

If you need to shorten your braking distance, try R-compound track tires.
