Hello Phong & Roger!
Phong, it was nice seeing you again. However, I must apologize for not catching up with you on Sunday at the American Le Mans Race at Laguna Seca last October. As a result, I did not get the opportunity to check -out your car and the mods you had made. Even this time I did not see all of your mods, but for sure your new wheels look great.
Well Phong, it’s late and I need to catch a flight tomorrow for SF. This time I’m baby sitting my grand children who live in SF, and on Saturday, I’m helping my other stepson and his wife (the one I visited last weekend) move to their new home in Brentwood. So, I will not be driving my NSX. However, I alone and sometimes my wife and I, drive up to SF to see our kids and grandkids; Erick and his wife in Antioch (and are now moving into their new home in Brentwood), Sean, his wife and two kids who live in the Twin Peaks area of SF) and Brian and his wife who live in Campbell.
Phong, thank you for the escort from Dublin to San Jose! I had no problem finding my stepson’s home in Campbell, and I did not even need to rely on my navigation system. You took me thorough some very exclusive neighborhoods, and past some beautiful multi-million Dollar Homes! What was the name of that area(s)? I did have problems keeping up with you! I forgot, but what power increasing mods. did you make? Lastly, your car hardly bounced when traversing dips, bumps and rough area. It looked really tight. Were you checking your Billsteins or your new springs, the Manufacturer of which escapes me at the moment?
ROGER;
Again, thanks for coming out early on a Sunday, to at least have coffee with us. I apologize for being late. I ended up being nearly 2 hours late to my dinner engagement. I did not figure two stops (Gas & Food). 13.904 Gals. at $3.859/Gal cost me $57.82. I also got caught in a short wind/dust storm south of Coalinga on the 5. I had to stop for about 45 minutes and hide behind an 18 wheeler, when I realized sometimes the wind can topple at trailer rig onto their side, and I envisioned myself and my car getting squashed like the bugs on my windshield! So, I move behind a small structure. When the wind died down, I cleaned my wind shield and started down the 5 again. My wife was not happy!
Well, Phong and Roger its time to close up the computer and get some sleep. Attached are some more photos.
PS: “quack”, “Dtrigg” and “emeraldtt”, it was a last minute, very short notice, announcement, so I did not count on many, if any, other participants in addition to Phong and I. So, it was a pleasant surprise to see Roger (Dhalsim) with a great shine on his car, and to see the number of owners, who expressed an interest, but could not make it. Also quack (non red dudes) are always welcomed. If all our cars were red, all our cars would look the same! :tongue:
See you the next time I’m up that way. For sure I’ll be passing through on my way up to NSXPO 2008 in Portland later this year. If anyone is driving there from the bay area, I would like to join up with ya! I’ll likely be traveling along with a few Primers from the San Diego/LA area.
Regards,
Mario
