Howdy NSXers,

Twice in the last 2 months my check engine light has come on - with no noticable change in performance. Then, after turning the car off and restarting, it stays off.

Where is the short connection for that light located? I'm going to have it checked, but want to know more - including any experiences you may have had with the same issue before going to visit Mr. Technician.

Thanx!

It's a blue 2 pin connector located under the pass side glove box. You will find the service codes for the ECU, TCS, ABS, and EPS (if equiped) in the factory service manual available on the homepage of this website.

The ECU will store temporary codes unless you disconnect the battery or remove the 7.5 amp fuse under the front bonnet. Unless you have done this, your prior codes should still be stored.

Cheers,
-- Chris
