I'm building a shift light and considering locations for mounting. It will be about 2" wide and 0.5" tall.
I'd like it to be removable without a trace, so I want to put magnets under the dash or under a trim piece.
Can you advise:
1) Is it possible to access the inside of the dash right above the gauge cluster?
2) How much space is inside the A-pillar trim? I'm thinking of a couple 10-15mm diameter magnets that are 2-5mm thick.
3) Any other ideas?
