As a current owner of an S2000, and a future owner of a 95 NSX-T (hopefully Tuesday March 4th, unless we get a ton of snow this weekend), I have become accustomed to the titanium shift knob in my car. I know there is talk of the Integra Type-R knob being a replacement for the 95 NSX knob, but My question is whether there are any other metallic shift knobs that would also fit. Also, I do not want the spheres, or the short-shift (SOS?). I believe the S2000 knob is the same shape as that which was used in the McLaren Hondas of the late 1980's. I like this particular shape, and would be interested in such a knob. Ai am aware of the complaints that the Integra Type-R knob has plastic threads. Does my S2000 also have those threads? Your help is appreciated.[This message has been edited by 9000RPMan (edited 26 February 2003).]
