Does anyone know if a automatic style shift knob will work on a manual type stick ??...i saw an awesome looking shift knob bu its for automatic cars and has a push button thing on top for the release but i wanna know if this can go on the manual stick as well ??

Buy it and try it! You don't have to connect the button to anything.

On a related topic, I've never liked the stock shift knob and have wanted to change mine. Are there any besides the RM that will clip to the factory shift boot or better yet, does anyone make a leather replacement for the stock boot as well?
