I painted mine with "dashboard grain" paint. $3.99 at Wal-Mart. I have the SoS Type-R copy and shift boot. I was going to paint the shifter post black (not the knob), but I'm going to have Dali do the short shift conversion, so then the boot will sit flush with the knob. SRedit: and I left space below the radio for the turbo timer and a couple switches for various things.
