Shift knob

I just looked at an '04 Black/Red NSX at a local dealer today. Kinda funny because they wouldn't give me the time of day while I was browsing over the cars in showroom, that is until I walked out and got into my NSX and then they all came clammering out the door after me. HA HA !!
Anyway, I liked the shift knob that comes on them now. Does anybody know if the new ones will fit all years or not?

My bet is yes, they will. The top 1" or so of the steel lever is threaded on my '91, and the knob just screws down onto it.

Hey, you could always go back to the showroom, wait until no one is looking, and see if the knob on the '04 unscrews!

When you took a look at the 04 shift knob, was the height of the knob shorter than the current one?

My guess is that they should bolt directly onto the current one, too.

If memory serves me correct it was shorter.
