shift knob

howdy folks,

quick question(s):
1. does the NA1 5-speed shift knob screw off?
2. if not, how does it come off?
(just curious, as i see a picture of a stock-looking knob on the daliracing site that has 2 clips which could hold up the fabric below the shifter or be for connecting it & I don't know which)
