Looks nice. I just ordered the type r boot and type R knob for my car. Chris from SOS gave me a good price and their service is GREAT.

Thats the same set up I have... The only problem I have is that there is some some between the shift knob and boot. I think I need a zip-tie or some sort of rigged up device to keep it from constantly falling.

Brandon,

Maybe while my car is in your possesion you can help me out

I can help you out with that. I think you can R & R the shift boot, wrap a zip tie around the lever right under the full extension point for the shift boot. This should keep the boot from falling down because it will stop @ the zip tie.

that is what i did as well. I put two zip ties together so that the ends act as stopping points. two ends instead of one is more balanced.

Mmmm very tasty indeed. One question, does it come with the factory clip-on like the SOS one?

no factory clip. have get creative, but the thing looks perfect with my OEM ring on there. The knob comes with a nut that can be used with the OEM boot, but the knob screws down about an inch lower without the nut...so i used the zip tie method described above. this knob actually makes my car more fun to drive lol.

I had the same problem. I solved it by putting a rubber grommet on the stick shift under the boot and slid it up until the boot met the knob. Works great.
