Shift knob changes/options?

After poking around at pictures online, etc., I am curious (sorry forums/FAQ Nazi, I didn't find it on my own), has Acura only ever offered the same style shift knob on the NSX since '91 (aside from Zanardi and Autos)?

I have seen this one now on quite a few pictures I have found, but I am curious if all deviants from this design would have to be aftermarket or not...

The one that is shown is the standard shift knob for all NSX (except Type R AFAIK). Personally, I like this one very much.
I'm still looking for one where the leather is still 100%. Mine is a bit worn.

98 Integra Type R shift knob.. same exact design as the original NSX shift knob, except has red stitching, and the leather is not quite as smooth. I like it.

Is the boot also from a 98 Integra? What are the prices?

Thanks,

I'm not so sure that the shift knob has stayed constant.

I was at the dealership recently and was looking at a black 2002 and noticed that the stitching for the interior was white; along with the stitching for the shift knob.

I think the newer cars ('02,'03) have contrasting stitching on some interior colors, AFAIK.

Thanks,

The boot is an aftermarket, by Momo. I believe I paid $75.00 dealer cost for the actual shift knob.

To my knowledge, you can special order the '02/'03 NSX interior to be stitched in whatever color you'd like.

I thought that was available in Japan but not available in the United States...
