Looking for a write up on the Shift Boot R/R procedures. couldn't find one in the search. Is there one on another site? THank you.
Shift Boot Replacement

its been awhile since i've been in there but lets see how my memory is.
* pull shift boot down to unlock from bottom of shift knob.
* remove shift knob.
* remove vent/clock assembly. pull directly forward, its held in by clips. dont forget to unplug clock.
* behind clock/vent assembly should be 2 screws, remove them.
* open armrest/storage bin. clean all the junk out of there. pull up carpeted metal plate at the bottom.
* remove 4 screws underneath. then pul armrest/storage bin up, and set it outside the car.
* now 2 more screws are exposed at the bottom end of the radio/center console trim. remove them.
* pull radio bezel/center console trim up, and out of the way.
* flip bezel upside down. remove screws from shift boot retaining bezel.
* remove boot from retaining bezel
(*) Installation is the reverse of above.
If my memory is poor, and i have missed a step, please chime in and help out. I'm trying to mentally step through the the steps, but my memory sucks....LOL!
