Does the link below seem like the right product to get - I'm looking to pickup the service manual as indicated in the FAQ section. I'm pretty sure this is it, but the price is a bit different from the FAQ - FAQ says it's $65 or so, this one is $35. Can anyone please confirm for me that this is the right one? Is there perhaps a better publication than this?

No - that is just the supplement - the full manual is only for '97 - you need the primary manual too for that year too.

1997 Manual Part # 61SL006

1999 Manual Supplement Part # 61SL008

i.e. both parts are required for total package (although for most jobs the primary '97 is probably adequate - no major changes in '99.)

Note that you can also find the 1991 manual in soft copy here - many of the tasks are very similar but obviously there are the engine/drive-chain of substantial difference (although functionally the procedures are still quite similar).

edit - damn Larry - beat me by milliseconds!

I bought a cd version on ebay last week for $10.00 waiting for it to arrive. There are a lot of them on there for about that much. 1,420 pages. Sounds good, I'll see and let everyone know.

You could have down-loaded it for nothing from the link I posted above - right here on 'Prime. That's where they ripped it off from anyway.

A little too late now:mad: .

This is great help. I just downloaded the 91 manual. Fantastic. My car is a 98. Should I get the 98 supplement? Or anything else? I do just about everything myself but engine and drive train internals. Thanks.
