SERIOUSLY, Which of these exhausts is THEE Loudest...

Hey guys. I would VERY MUCH like to know, Which of the the following two exhausts is THEE LOUDEST overall. At idle, WOT, and under acceleration. The Taitec JGTC Parallel Exhaust OR the RM Racing Exhaust by B&B Triflo. ALSO, Which one of the exhausts provides the MOST power. I ask because the RM Racing exhaust seems to be the only mainstream exhaust missing from the informative Science of Speed exhaust comparison that Chris provides on his website. On the SOS exhaust comparison list, the Taitec JGTC Parallel Exhaust is listed as a "5" at idle & a "8" at WOT. What do you guys think the RM Racing exhaust would rate at? And again, which makes more power? I would like to settle this debate in my head once and for all with everyone's help...
 
I don't think you are going to find a significant difference in performance b/w the 2 exhausts. Likely your true hp gain will come from your headers. I've got the JGTC parallel exhaust, two of my buddies have the RM, now they have both since sold their RM's to buy the JGTC after hearing mine. In fact, one of them is now considering switching to something a little quieter since he just got a ticket on Sunday for his exhaust being too loud (he is running stock headers)! I'm running DC Sports headers and my NSX just sounds amazing! I get compliments all the time and it has turned out to be a great deterent to all the kids looking to race me b/c I usually scare the shit out of them once I blip the throttle!
 
BITer, that is the exhaust comparison that I was referring to in my initial post. That comparison is great, BUT it mysteriously does NOT include the RM Racing exhaust in it, which leaves one to wonder exactly which exhaust is THE King of the Hill when it comes to volume at idle and WOT.

I wish SoS had sound clips attached to their comparison test.
 
We only list exhausts we sell. Community forums like this one is great for comparing different brands.

The JGTC exhaust is louder than RM, and has much higher quality construction.

I had the JGTC Lightweight with DC Sport Headers and comptech bypass pipes.

OMG (ears bleeding).. too loud.. except for track use.
 
JGTC Center exit light weight is the loudest period. It removes the cats weighs 14.1 lbs and makes good noticeable high end HP. I had it on my 94. Better than RM in quality, much less weight and much louder. Easy install on any pre 02 NSX. I would have put the JGTC light weight on my 2002 NSX but you must have CATS.
 
I seriously think you need to hook up with QWKSLVR, you have got to listen to his JGTC with Headers.

OR

Just buy the darn JGTC, if you dont like it then sell it..You would only loose about $200 but aleast it would answer your curiosity..

Wow. I just installed a Taitec JGTC Parallel on my car today. I have an ARC Induction Box, Comptech Headers, Comptech Test Pipes, and a DALI Modified ECU. BY FAR, The Taitec is THE loudest exhaust I have EVER heard on an NSX. However, I think I still like the overall sound of my RM Racing Exhaust (For Sale) better. It is not nearly as loud, but for some reason it sounds more clean. I can't make up my mind which one I like better. Oh Well. I got what I asked for. The loudest exhaust EVER made for the NSX. I swear I could wake the dead if went through the gears next to a graveyard... By the seat of my pants, the JGTC has better high end pull, but the RM has better mid range pull.
