Okay, so the GT RS is a race car with tags. Out of the approx 84 cars I've owned since I started driving at age 16, the RS is #2 on my hit parade. Yes the NSX remains #1 . But, you don't want to be driving an RS for over an hour, each way, into San Francisco on Highway 101. It's brutal.
Switch over to the slightly modified 700 hp 2008 Porsche 911 GT2, an amazing ride. But that will be my last turbo car. Fast, fast, fast as it'll it'll knock the wind out of your lungs – albeit silently. The thing makes too little noise. Even a stock NSX sounds better. Thus, I am back in the market.
WTB, 2002+, 6-speed, Long Beach Blue Pearl, tasteful mods all good.
