After a long hot dog-days of summer it is time for our September meet. Anyone up for a Mt. Charleston picnic like last year? How about this coming Saturday 9/19? We can meet up at the Starbucks in the NW and caravan up.

I'll be at SMMR this Friday, and Saturday and/or Sunday as well. I also have a press pass for the time attack the following week. I have journalist credentials for the event; I'll be writing an article about the event for LVRacingScene.com. There will also be two photographers with me covering the event. This time attack event will be awesome, don't miss it! Oh; and so will the PCA HPDE event!! I’m all for the Mt. Charlie road trip, but let’s do it after these two events. And lastly it’s good to hear from you Danny!

Yes. Leaving on Friday afternoon. Are you coming in on Thursday or Friday?

Danny,

Unknown for sure yet. My hope is to get there Thursday afternoon and be out Friday morning at SM for a private members day on the radical loop for some final testing.

I pulled the air inlet off my blower, got a bigger one from Nate at Comptech in hopes it would solve the problem of not getting enough air to the blower, but the inlet I got from Nate doesn't fit at all. So now I have something being fabricated. I'm told it should be done by Tuesday.

Once I get the inlet back, I still have to put it all back together and head for Autowave so Mike can retune the car with the additional air and boost it will be getting.

So right now the plan is to get my car back together on Tuesday, be at Autowave on Wednesday all day and leave for Vegas Thursday morning. But we both know what happens to well laid out plans....

I will call you Wednesday and let you know how things are going, maybe we can get together for dinner on Thursday night if you're not to busy getting ready to leave town.
I think Lance may want to join us for dinner as well....

Hope to see you out there Jim, and hopefully I will be bringing you a big present as well!

Thanks Ken...I look forward to seeing you as well.

If for some reason the car can't make it over this 13th hour inlet situation, I will be out anyway to watch, lend a hand if needed, and most certainly cheer you guys on.

 I know I'm going to love that big present if it makes it in time

Virgil,

I was all set to attend the Friday PCA training event when work dropped a bomb on me. I was called in on Thursday afternoon (while on vacation time) to fix some failed network systems.

Between Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon I worked 20 hours straight with only a four hour break. Missing this training session with the PCA was a big disappointment for me.

I won't be attending the Time Attack either; there is some likelihood that I'll be called into work while I'm in Pahrump at this event. I'm going to stop any involvement in motorsports related activities, because I can't make any kind of commitment to anything as long as I have this job. I suppose I should be thankful just to have a job in times like these. I hope you all had fun at the PCA HPDE!
