OK...Now that we have a good idea on what we are going to do, Im posting this up. We are planning on having a group of people caravan to Houston from Beaumont, so I figured why not go ahead and make this an S2k and NSX meet. Heres the plans we have so far:


Sat. September 18th

* 12:00- Meet at Chili's on Westheimer

* After we meet and eat at Chili's, take a ride on one of coops routes through some windy roads on the North side of town.

* After the drive, find a spot to eat on the North side of Houston. (Bennigans was Suggested.)

* After dinner, head over to Oscar's Creamery to have some desert and meet up with some other enthusiasts.


I am going to try to keep a head count so let me know what your plans are. Let me know if I need to make changes to this list.

What NSX'es are attending? I believe I'll be tied up at work, but I'll try to make it out. I'm sure some of the Houston guys will jump in and announce their plans on attending or not.

Well if everything works out, Ben (beckertb) may be coming out. I think he would come out in the NSX but im not sure if that would be the car he would drive. I would say if he came he would drive it since it will be an NSX and s2k meet. But I am not real sure of his schedule right now. He said he is interested but has to check on his schedule. Right now I have him down as coming but if he cant make it, I will take him off the list.

The cars that will be attending so far will more than likely be my S2k, 350z's, rsx's, ls motor civic, maybe Ben's NSX, and when we meet in houston there is 5 s2k's planned to be there as of now. Also this is the first day I posted this so things will probably change. Hopefully the list will get a lot bigger. I am trying to get a big meet schedule since us Beaumont guys dont make it to Houston all that much, I would like it to be worth the trip. Also we dont see a whole lot of nice vehicles in this area compared to somewhere like Houston.

Where area do you live in? If close, you ought to make the trip. Were coming from Beaumont... Im hoping more people will start wanting to come, and then people will see that and jump on the bandwagon. haha.

Hey, I graduated in 1992. I used to know a few people from Lumberton but cant recall any of their names anymore. I moved out of the area about 6 years ago. SE Texas sure has grown a lot over that time. Looks like Lumberton is growing pretty good.
 
Ya Lumberton has grown a lot, almost too much. There is too much traffic now for this small city. They took down the old wal-mart and put a super wal mart right in front of the highschool as well as a couple traffic lights.

Which Chili's on Westheimer? I work right off Westheimer and I get off at 1. So, if you guys meet up at noon and hangout for a while(1pm), I'll be able to join you.

it's sound great ..i'm use to live in nederland too :p . so i want to meet some of u guy.. but in the trip up north do u guy want to support my cousin tapioca's place.. that would be great..and we would appreciative. :) .also, i could not join u guy for lunch because i won't get out the class until 1:00 pm so let me know what u think? :confused:

Im sure we will spend a little while at Chili's. By the time everyone gets there and get in to eat and hang out, you guys should be able to make it there.

I also think everyone would be happy to support your cousins tapioca place. I will post up in a little while the route we will be taking and we will try to work it in the plans. I will pm you guys my cell number so if theres any problem, you can give me a call and we will work it out! I will go ahead and add yalls names to the list.

It was great meeting you guys... I look forward to more meets..... I still need to find a reputible place where I can get my Wilwood Rotors turned. They are a little warped.... if anyone knows of a good place send me a msg..... thanks.....
